New Book on the Ambush

A New Book about the Tourmakeady Ambush 1921 was written and published to coincide with the Centenary Commemoration of the Ambush. The book title is:

There were 1,000 books printed, fully funded by MJ Conroy of Cong who sponsored the printing costs. We thank them for their generous assistance in getting the book published. This was a limited 1st edition which has now been fully sold out through the kind help of many local shop outlets. €10,000 from the book sales has gone to the Tourmakeady Ambush Commemoration Committee to fund its various initiatives, particularly the new Centenary Memorial Monument in Srah. We sincerely thank all of you who purchased the book and supported this project.
