Restoration Work
In this Centenary year of the Tourmakeady Ambush, we have carefully restored the Gravestones and Memorial monuments of the Volunteers who lost their lives on 3rd May 1921. We have also restored old photographs (where possible) of the Volunteers who participated in the Tourmakeady Ambush. All the work has been carried out voluntarily to honor those who gave so much for their country one hundred years ago in the Irish War of Independence
